Winter Gritting

We can tailor a winter gritting service to suit your business needs, whether reactive or preventative. We monitor the weather daily and offer a 7 day service between 1st November to 31st March. We use high quality white grit salt rather than brown rock salt, we have found the salt to be of a stronger quality and keeps your sites and offices cleaner.

Preventative Service

This is where we agree a trigger temperature and will automatically go and grit once the temperature reaches the trigger point or below.

Reactive Service

This is where we monitor the weather and inform the customer that frost/ice is forecast and the customer authorises a call out.

Snow clearance

When snow falls you need to know that it can be cleared efficently with as little impact as possible to your business. We have a team of contractors on call for snow conditions. We also have our own snow plows and manual clearing teams. Priority is given to customers on our Frostwatch service.

Salt/Grit bins

We can arrange the supply of salt to your premises. We can supply in 25kg bags, loose in tonne bags or loose deliveries. We can also supply grit bins, walk behind gritters for paths etc.
